How to compost:

It's very simple and easy!
Supplies are debris from your yard and left overs from your kitchen.  So watch and follow along--you'll want to get started in NO time!

Make your own: Compost Tea (for your plants!)

Why:
Boosts nutrients into your plants
Pour it on the plant roots or spray on the leaves
Need:
compost
5 gallon bucket
rain barrel water or town water that you let stand overnight to reduce chlorine
chlorine
paint strainer
string

How:
fill bucket with water
fill paint strainer with a shovel full of compost.  Tie it off with string = compost "tea bag"
drop "tea bag" into the bucket
let soak for several days (periodically dunking the bag)
remove the tea bag, place the compost contents around your plants
use the "tea" to then "water" the base of your plants, or dilute it and spray it on the foliage
apply 1x a month during growing season

ENJOY!
